This exhibition is aimed at showcasing Nigerian artists exploring technical print-making techniques and educating art lovers and collectors about printmaking as a medium and artform.
Young Contemporary Printmakers features four contemporary Nigerian print makers — Tosin Oyeniyi (linocut), Yadichinma Ukoha-Kalu (lino-cut), Nneka Chima (linocut), Nkem Okwechime (screenprint), and Wanger Ayu (mult-media).
This exhibition is aimed at showcasing Nigerian artists exploring technical print-making techniques and educating art lovers and collectors about printmaking as a medium and artform. Taking an educative approach, the program schedule will include artist conversations, guided walkthroughs with the curator, and an open studio format where stencils and final print works will be on display to take guests through the print creation process.
